Our content standards
We do not allow content that:
- sexually exploits or endangers children in any way (see below);
- promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm or hatred against any person or group because of religion, caste, gender, region or similar grounds;
- contains unlawful, obscene or pornographic material;
- infringes copyright or other rights, or impersonates another person;
- is misleading, defamatory or harms public order.
Dramas on SamayReels are works of fiction. Mature themes such as romance, crime or conflict are shown responsibly, and age or content labels are applied where appropriate.
Child safety
SIMKA ENTERTAINMENT has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAM) and any content that sexualises minors. We do not allow it and we remove it without delay, close the accounts involved, and report it to the appropriate authorities as required by law. SamayReels is intended for users aged 18 and above.
How to report content or a concern
Email ceo.simka@gmail.com with the subject “Report content”, or call +91 91810 75600. Please tell us the drama and episode, what is wrong, and how to reach you. You can also use the report option in the app where available. Serious reports, especially about children, are reviewed first.
In India you can also report child abuse material to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or call 1930, and call Childline on 1098.
What we do
- Review the report, remove or restrict content that breaks these guidelines.
- Suspend or end accounts that misuse the Services.
- Cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires.
